Yahoo Buzz Will Open to Small Publishers Soon?

Yahoo BuzzYahoo Buzz launched in February in beta with some high profile sites and later expanded to some other sites. But it never allowed small publishers in to the program. I myself applied to the program when it was launched, but never heard back from them. Today after more than 4 months since i applied i received a mail from Yahoo Buzz team. No they are not accepting at the moment but atleast they are acknowledging they have received the request and will soon expand the program.

We’re sorry it’s been a while since we got in touch with you, but we received your request to get your content on Yahoo! Buzz™. Right now, we’re working hard to get the site ready for more publishers, and we really appreciate your patience as we prepare to launch out of beta in the coming months.

Thanks for your continued patience—we will let you know as soon as Yahoo! Buzz™ is ready for you to join. We can’t wait to bring you on board!

— Yahoo! Buzz™ Team

It took 4 months to acknowledge the requests so you may expect how long it will take for them to allow small publishers.

Some publishers who are in to the program have already seen spikes of traffic. Yahoo Buzz overtook Digg in April.
