After unveiling the new iPad, Apple slashed the price of iPad2 in India by Rs. 5000. The price drop is only applicable to the 16GB model of iPads, and both 32gb and 64GB model iPads were discontinued.
Now there are only two models of Apple iPad2 in the market in India. 16GB iPad Wi-Fi only model now retails at 24,500m earlier it used to sell at a price of 29,500. The second one 16GB iPad with 3G and Wi-Fi will retail now at a discounted price of Rs. 32,600 earlier it used to sell at a price tag of Rs. 36,900.
The new iPad will be available from March 16th in the US, there is no official date for India availability but we can hope it might come in the next few months before summer ends.
