Asus has unveiled a series Android phones under Zenfine brand at CES 2014.. These phones all run Intel processors inside and these are all mid-range devices. Named Zenfone, Zenfone5, and Zenfine 6, the numbers represent the screen sizes of these phones. All these phones will come in variety of color options as well.
Zenfine 4, 5 and 6 are all powered by Intel dual core processors, the 4 is powered by the 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 processor, the 5 and 6 are powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 processor. These phones run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system skinned with Asus ZenUI. According to Asus this Zen UI on top will enhance the user experience, it includes its own messaging client called Omlet and other apps.
Zenfone 4 comes with a 4-inch 480 x 800 WVGA LCD screen, 5-megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera. The Zenfone 5 comes with a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels HD screen, 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2MP front camera. The Zenfone 6 comes with a 6-inch 1280 x 720 pixels screen with a 13-megapixel rear camera.
The availability of these phones is not yet known for now. They are priced at $99 for Zenfone 4, $149 for Zenfone 5 and $199 for Zenfone 6.
