Asus Fonepad to Launch Tomorrow in India

Asus FonePad is expected to launch tomorrow in India, Fonepad was first announced at MWC 2013 along with the PadFone Infinity. Fonepad is a 7-inch tablet with 3G voice calling support hence the name Fonepad. Asus has not announced the pricing of this 7-inch tablet so far but it is expected to carry a price tag of Rs. 15000+.

Asus-Fonepad
Fonepad is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor coupled with PowerVR SGX540 GPU and packs 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, on top of it Asus own customized launcher is added. It comes with 7-inch LED Bachlight WXGA (1280 X 800 pixels) IPS screen. Other specifications of the tablet include 8GB/ 16 of internal storage along with a micro SD slot to expand the memory. Asus is also giving 5GB of cloud storage for life time. It has 3MP rear camera capable of recording HD video and a 1.2MP front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G, GPS.

Along with the usual Android apps this tablet comes loaded with apps from Asus including MyLibrary, File Manager, Kindle, Zinio, SuperNote Lite, App Backup, App Locker etc. It will be available in Titanium Gray / Champagne Gold.
