Aviary launches standalone photo editing app for Android and iPhone

Aviary’s photo editing plugins are included in several applications, it offers SDKs for iOS, Android and WP7, developers can integrate Aviary photo editor in their applications using these SDKs. Aviary also released a plugin for Android some time back. Now Aviary introduced standalone applications for Android and iOS that allows users to make quick edits to their photos.

Using the standalone app users can modify their gallery photos or take photos with the camera and edit them. Aviary photo editors offer one click auto enhance feature, that enhances the original photo by adjusting contrast, brightness etc. Users can add fun stickers, color balance the photos and do some more basic editing like Crop and rotate. You can also add text and draw on the photos to improve them and share with others.

Using the app is easy, when you pen the app, you have the option to load images from your Gallery or take photos with the camera. Once you have the photo in the editor you can add effects, add text, crop and do whatever you want. The enhance button will allow you to enhance the photo with once click auto enhance feature.

The basic tools are free to use, but if you want some more effects you need to buy effects pack etc., as in-app purchase. The free tools will do the job for most of us, but if you want more control and options you could always upgrade.

If you are looking for a no-frills Photo editing application for your smartphone, consider Aviary it’s a very good app and works brilliantly. Aviary Photo Editing app is available for both Android and iOS.
