BlackBerry price dropped in India, available now for Rs 19,990

BlackBerry launched the Q5 in India last July with an affordable BB10 device tag. Now the device got a price cut and is now available for a reduced price of Rs 19,990. BlackBerry is offering Q5 at a discounted price as part of New Year Bonanza. BlackBerry has earlier reduced the prices of its devices in India, the Z10 and Q10 both got price cuts.

BlackBerry always prices their products at a premium, we have seen how their strategy is working. The devices simply don’t move from the shelves, but as long as BlackBerry is happy with its performance we don’t complain.

BlackBerry Q5 resembles its big brother Q10, it runs on the BB10 operating system. It comes with a 3.1-inch touch screen with 720 x 720 pixels resolution and boasts a physical keyboard. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Other specifications include a 5MP camera at the rear and a 2MP front camera, 2180mAH battery under the hood.
