Chrome app launcher is an app launcher for Chrome on Windows, it is not yet officially launched but it is available from a download link. It shows shortcuts to the apps that are visible on your Chrome new tab page. The app launcher is available earlier on Chrome OS and on Chrome developer preview channel.
Click on the “Get the launcher” link on the launcher page, quickly it adds shortcuts on the desktop, taskbar on Windows 8, according to Engadget same for Windows 7 also. From the app launcher you can launch your favorite with a click on them. If you use Google services a lot like Gmail, Google Drive etc., this app launcher might be useful for you. Not only Google apps but any app that is works on Chrome is available from here.
It also features a search bar, if you have several apps then you can do a quick search to open that app. It is available for Windows users for now, but is is not clear when the Mac and Linux versions will hot the store.
