CyanX Lock – A New Customizable Lockscreen Replacement for Android

Lockscreens are quite popular on the android OS and after iPhone’s successful slide to unlock, there have been numerous Lockscreens available for Android. Currently, android does offer several Lockscreens on ICS including pattern unlock and face recognition. However, some users are bored with the stock Locksreens and are looking for something new. It is extremely customizable and has different styles unlike other Lockscreens replacements. Weather you want a transparent lock or you want something attractive like water ripples, you should definitely try CyanX Lock.

Firstly, CyanX lock offers various different lockscreens including water ripples, gestures, sense lock, pins and transparent locks. Apart from the basic lock itself, it also supports displaying notifications from various different apps directly on the lockscreens including missed calls, messages, Facebook posts and tweets. CyanX also features a light sensor for turning the screen off automatically.

Widgets are also supported and you can can change size, color, font and position. You can either use your stock Lockscreens along with CyanX or you can disable the stock lock using the app. CyanX also supports a homescreen widget for locking the screen instead of using using the power button. A customizable emergency widget is also available.

The app also features options to set buttons and behaviors and you can set different buttons including home and volume keys in order to unlock. Other customizations are also available including locking the status bar and changing animations.  CyanX also features a built in gps locator for sending messages and a full battery bar for checking battery from the homescreen.

CyanX also supports locking and unlocking sounds which can be changed in the settings menu. A backup and restore feature is also available to save and restore different lockcreens designs. The lockscreen can be downloaded using this link.
