Dhingana and Idea Cellular partnered in India to launch a music subscription service. The service allows Idea Cellular users on Android platform download unlimited songs from Dhingana with out any data charges incurred.
The music subscription is only available to Android users of Idea Cellular, this offer does not apply to iOS users. Dhingana has a similar service called Dhingana Gold on iPhone which allows users to download unlimited songs with ad-free experience but data charges apply here.
The downloads made by these users on Android are encrypted and will only be playable using the Dhingana Android app. The music subscription will be available for over 127 million Idea subscribers including Postpaid and Prepaid users. Users who are on feature phones can also stream ad-free music on Idea Cellular.
