Facebook Messenger is finally available for download on Windows Phone platform. Facebook Messenger is one of the popular app on other mobile platforms and its availability on Windows Phone 8 is a win for Windows Phone platform, which has large app gap compared to other platforms, but the good news is that app gap is closing.
Microsoft announced Facebook Messenger app for Windows Phone at the MWC 2014, and the app is finally available now for download. Facebook Messenger for Windows Phone works only with the WP8 and not with the previous versions of the OS. It includes nearly all the functionality you would have seen on other platforms, the only exception is the voice messaging and the chat heads feature.
With Facebook Messenger you will be able to chat with your friends, send private messages, and use pictures and stockers in the chat. You can also share your location to people.
