Dropbox launches Carousel gallery app for photos and videos on your phone

Dropbox today announced an app called Carousel for archiving and sharing of your photos and videos. Dropbox is mainly a cloud storage service, but that doesn’t mean it will stick to its core business. Dropbox Carousel is an attempt to get all your photos in one place, and when needed you can go back in time and see those previous moments and share it with others.

The Carousel app is now available for both Android and iOS devices. The app combines the photos and videos store on your dropbox account along with the ones stored on your phone. The photos you take on your phone will be backed up automatically. Carousel app sorts all these photos in to a timeline as evens, you can view these events any time with a tap, you can also share these memories with others. Carousel is not limited to your phone storage, the storage depends on your Dropbox storage space.
