Facebook for Android updated with post and comment editing

Facebook posts once posted can’t be edited till now, you can delete or hide them from your timeline though. Editing posts and comments is great and can come in handy if you made a mistake and wanted to correct. Starting today Facebook has introduced this feature on Web, Android and iOS devices.

Facebook Android app has been updated to include this feature already but the iOS app doesn’t seem to get the update. But don’t worry it will be rolled out gradually. What this means is you can edit your posts and comments after posting them.

Facebook for Android app also brings some improvements and features along with bug fixes.

What’s new in this version:

  • Use icons in status updates to express what you’re feeling or doing (English only).
  • Edit your posts and comments, and tap to see all your changes.
  • See upcoming events at a glance on your favorite pages.
  • Create and share new photos albums from your phone
  • Bug fixes
