Gionee has launched Gionee GPad G along with the Gionee M2 in India today. The GPad G is priced at Rs 18,999 officially in India. The GPad G4 already appeared at some online-retailers few days back with that price tag and Gionee has now officially launched it.
Gionee GPad G4 is a phablet that features a 5.7-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a Quad-core Cortex A7 1.5Ghz MediaTek 6589T processor coupled with the PowerVR Series 5Xt GPU. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. In the memory department it comes with a 1GHB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, there is no external storage support in this phablet.
Other specifications of GPad G4 include a 13MP rear camera with auto focus, LED flash, face detection etc, there is also a 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video calls. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 3G, dual SIM dual Standby, micro USB. Features in Gionee GPad G4 include Smart Gesture, Face unlock, OTA and Game Zone among others.
It packs a 3200 mAh battery under the hood for providing juice, it will give 14 hrs of talk time on 3G an d26 hrs of talk time on 2G. It comes with Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor, G-Sensor, E-Sensor, Gyroscope, and Light sensor. It will be available in Black and White colors.
