Google keep got time and location based reminders, add photos to notes

Google Keep which launched a while back as a note taking app from Google updated today with some useful features. Google Keep is now integrated with Google Now for reminding you things you have to do based on time and location. The Android app also received the update and adds useful features.

Keep can now remind you of important tasks with the help of Google Now, for example it can remind you of your grocery list when you visit your favorite grocery shop, or it can remind you to put trash cans out in the weekend. To get started click the “Remind me” button from the bottom of any note, then select whether time or location and you are good to go. You can select specific time and date or simply select more general timings like tomorrow morning. Adding location is also easy it will suggest as soon as you start typing for locations.

A new navigation drawer has been added to get all of your notes easier, it also includes a view of all your upcoming reminders. The navigation drawer will also let you switch accounts. The new update also allows users to add photos to keep notes, click the camera icon to to take a new photo or add one from your library.
