Google Now gets new cards with updated Google Search for Android

Google Search app for Android got an update today, as part of the update Google Now got some useful cards. Google Search app update change log states that more beautiful search results, new hotword: Ok Google (from Nexus 5), for US users and now you can tell Google to update on notable people when you search for them.

Google Now got several features with this update. The list include website update cards, movie, TV recommendations and traffic incidents and updates on your commute using the real-time data from Waze.

The list includes Website update card, it brings new posts from your favorite blogs or websites. News topic card brings fresh news articles from the web on topics you want. The What to watch card gives you movie and TV recommendations. Other features include setting repeat reminders, real-time scores. With Google Now, now users can have more natural dialog for tasks, for example if you want ti text one of your contact and there are more contact with the same name, the search app will ask you questions like which contact? and follows it up.

Google Search app update is already pushed to Google Play Store, check for updates if you don’t see it yet.
