Grooveshark released a music playlist widget creation tool with the ability to add your own music collection to the widgets. Grooveshark is one of the best places to find music and Grooveshark Lite is an alternative to the rest of us who can’t access Pandora.
Grooveshark widget playlists are pretty straight forward to create. You can customize the look and feel of the widget with any pre-designed templates or using colors that match your site colors. You can also customize the height and width of the widget. Next step is finding the songs, you can search for the songs by entering keywords in the search box or you can upload your music collection from your hard drive. Ability to upload songs may appeal to many users, currently it only supports MP3 uploads, but nevertheless this is a good option if you don’t find the songs you wanted on Grooveshark. You can also add Grooveshark playlist to the widgets by searching with the keywords.
When you are done with the widget creation you can post it anywhere as a Flash embed. It also offers shortcuts to various social networks and blog platforms to post the widget. If you have a grooveshark login you can save all your widgets to your space, that way it will be easy to change the playlist as often as you want.

In the second step there is a link above the add song, play song ect, that reads “upload an MP3 from your computer”, click on that to upload songs
