Hasbro Finally Sues Scrabulous Facebook Game Developers

ScrabulousYou may already know the Scrabulous saga. Hasbro, the maker of the Scrabble board game finally sued the two Indian brothers of the popular Scrabulous Facebook game. Scrabulous is wildly popular app on Facebook platform and it is based on Scrabble board game.

Hasbro has also asked Facebook to remove the Scrabulous game on DMCA saying it is infringing on Hasbro’s intellectual property. This month EA ha launched licensed version of Scrabble game on Facebook which has around 8900 users, and Scrabulous has half a million users.

This is unfortunate for the Scrabulous fans, we will see how this fight will turns out in the end. via cNet
