HTC to build phones for Amazon according to a report

Amazon phone rumors were not uncommon, although we have not seen a phone from Amazon till now but earlier reports suggested that Amazon is at least building two phones and one of them could be a 3D interface phone. A new report suggests that HTC might build phones for Amazon in the near future, according to the report HTC made smartphone is nearing the completion.

Earlier rumors floated that Amazon might offer a smartphone for free but Amazon denied that and also Amazon may not have a phone to offer this year. So we might see a smartphone from Amazon next year. Amazon Kindle smartphone is rumored for long but nothing concrete is known till now. If the report is true and HTC is indeed making Amazon phone then it is good for Amazon and HTC.

HTC earlier built phones for clients for example Palm, and is surprise if it is looking at Amazon for building phones. HTC is in trouble recently with its smartphone sales. It is making very good hardware, look at the HTC One but not able to compete with the likes of Samsung and Apple. A manufacturing deal with Amazon could lift its fortunes and allow it to sustain for some more time.
