HTC One getting Android 4.2.2 Update in India

HTC is finally started rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for HTC One users in India. The update is over-the-air and you should get a notifications if it is available for your phone, you can also check by going to settings. The latest Android update brings lot of improvements and changes to the OS.

The update is big at 400+MB, so make sure you are on Wi-Fi and phone is charged. The update includes launcher bar enhancement, widget panel rearrangement, new lock screen style widget etc. The HTC One Android 4.2.2 update started rolling out last month in select markets and is now started rolling out globally.

The Android 4.2.2 update for the HTC One includes following:

  • Launcher bar enhancement
  • Widget panel rearrangement
  • New lock screen style widget
  • Enhanced Home button behavior
  • Home button options added to make navigation menu bar removable
  • Battery level in status bar
  • Quick settings panel: 10 default settings by new touch gesture
  • AE/AF lock feature: Lock exposure / focus on viewfinder screen
  • New Zoe format for better file management
  • 6 more theme music in the video highlights
