Hunch helps you to make decisions

Hunch is the next cool thing from Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake. Hunch is about applying common knowledge to make decisions on various topics. If you are Indecisive about something you can hop over to Hunch to make decisions.

hunch_topics

Hunch displays questions related to topics created by users, as you answer each question it learns through what you like and displays the ranked results, if you are not happy with the result you can start from the beginning. For example if you see this question “What blog should i read?” it offers simple questions and when you answer all of them it gives ranked blogs based on your interests. The results are based on interests of you and other users like you and Hunch community. That means users will get different results based on their interests.

Hunch launched a few days back but has plenty of questions, if you don’t find what you are looking for in hunch you can always create a topic. Other users can improve the topic by adding questions, or by training hunch by fixing the results.

Hunch has another interesting aspect it allows user reviews on topics where users can evaluate pros & cons for each suggestion, so not only you can make decisions but you can also see user reviews of products.

hunch

Hunch is interesting concept with crowdsourcing model thrown at decision making. There are a plethora of topics which will help users to get decisions, and as the user reviews and topics grow it can be used as a review website for products.

Currently Hunch is in private beta, you can request an invite at hunch for access. I have 3 invites, if you want one post a comment below.

Pretty interesting idea and I’m really curious about how fast it could learn especially since it’s still in its early stages… looks potentially really cool and definitely would be fun to play around with =D!
