Intex launches Cloud Y12 with 4-inch display for Rs 5,490

Intex has launched another smartphone in its Android device lineup, named Cloud Y12 is targeted at the first time smartphone users and for those looking for a 3G smartphone at an affordable price. Intex Cloud Y12 is priced at Rs. 5,490 and it will be available immediatly across Intex stores, retail chains, and through online-retailers.

Intex Cloud Y12 features a 4-inch capacitive touch screen with FWVGA resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded upto 32GB with the use of a micro SD card. It is pretty weak in the camera department, but when you look at the price it is not that bad. It comes with a 2MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera.

Cloud Y12 runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The phone comes with OTA update support but don’t expect an update to KitKat yet, sure you are going to receive security updates though. It packs a 2000mAh battery under the hood for providing juice. It comes with Intex apps like Intex Cloud, shake to take a screenshot, Matrubasha among others.

It is priced at INR 5490 and will be available across India. Cloud Y12 will be available in White, Black, Red and Blue colors.
