iOS 6.1.1 released to fix cellular performance issues on iPhone 4S

Apple released iOS 6.1 on January 28th, and after the update users complained about the problems they had, the issues included connectivity problems, battery issues and others. Some European carriers like Vodafone warned their customers not to update to the latest version of iOS due to issues with 3G performance after the update. To address the issues Apple has released iOS 6.1.1 version.

The latest update to iOS that is 6.1.1 is only for iPhone 4S users. The update is available over the air and 23MB in size. You can also the update directly from here, the build number is 10B145. Update for other devices is not yet released.

Apple says “This update fixes an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S.”
