iPhoto for iOS hits 1 million users in 10 days

iPhoto for iOS was released along with the new iPad for iPad and iPhone last month. The iPhoto app allows users to quickly edit their photos and share them across social networks. This is a paid app and costs $4.99.

The iPhoto app hits 1 million users in less than ten days of the launch, Apple told The Loop. These numbers are not download numbers but unique users. Users might have downloaded the app several times and Apple is not counting those, these are only unique users. That is quite impressive, Apple just made 5 million from a single app in just ten days.

The iPhoto app got mixed reviews, some feel that it is clunky and for some it is awesome. The app is available for download from Appstore with a price tag of $4.99 and requires iOS 5.1 to install.
