Karbonn A27+ available online for Rs. 8,999

Karbonn has launched another smartphone in its Android lineup of devices with a price tag of Rs. 8,999. It is a mid range Android device with dual SIM support with dual standby. it runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It is available online from Flipkart for Rs. 8999.

It is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM. It features a 5-inch capacitive screen at qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution. It comes with 4Gb of internal memory out of which 2.55GB is available to the user. Memory can expanded upto 32GB using a micro SD card.

It has an 8-megapixel camera at the rear with LED Flash and a VGA camera at the front for video calls. It packs a 2000mAh battery with reported 7 hours talktime on 2G and 4 hours talktime on 3G. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, micro USB, Wi-Fi, 3G.

At this price range it is going to compete with Micromax Canvas 2 which has FWVGA display (480 x 854), and Celkon Signature HD 119 which has HD display.
