KingSoft Office – The Perfect Alternative to QuickOffice Pro for Android

With the recent upgrade of hardware and software in smartphones, more and more computer-type apps have been ported on smartphones and tablets. Creating and Editing various types of documents has been one of the specialties of a computer and Microsoft Office is a brilliant software for laptops and PCs. QuickOffice Pro has been the most popular documents editing and creating app for the Android OS and the paid app lets users create and edit various types of documents and PDF files, however, it offers some limited features compared to Microsoft Office. KingSoft Office is another brilliant office app for the Android OS and is the perfect alternate to QuickOffice Pro. The app is completely free and is packed with some impressive features.

KingSoft office runs quite well on most Android devices and even if you don’t have a tablet, the app still offers a decent experience for low-end Android smartphones. The office app has minimum lag along with a rich document editing features. It is an all-in-one documents editor as it supports over 23 different formats including .Doc, .Docx, PDF, txt, XLS and various others. KingSoft also features a built-in file manager for sorting out your documents, keeping them organized. Another great thing about the app is that it features mail integration  and supports cloud storage as well. Also, gestures support is present for a better using experience.

Apart from the basic editing and creating features, it also supports saving documents in PDF formats. Also, a spell checker is present along with a feature to print documents. Aside from this, it also supports the basic Office features including adding pictures, headers, bullets/numbers, font styles/colors, word count and find/replace. The Spreadsheet use is also quite neat as it supports all the basic MS Excel features including sorting cells, calculations and inserting charts and graphs.

KingSoft Office also supports external Bluetooth and USB Keyboards, as well as, custom shortcuts using these external keyboards for copying, pasting etc. KingSoft Office is available free and you can download it using this link.
