LG Lifeband Touch announced compatible with Android and iOS devices

LG is announcing a wearable health wristband at CES 2014. LG Lifeband Touch is a fitness tracking wristband, LG revealed it in a Korean press release. The lifeband touch leaked few days before CES. The wearable device will be compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Lifeband Touch is a water resistant band and will be available in black color. It will have an LED touch display for checking phone notifications, and allows users to play music from the smartphone. It will pair with both Android and iOS devices with Bluetooth and LG’s fitness app.

LG says that there is a heart rate earphone which can be paired with this device, and it monitors the heart rate of the user. It uses optical senor technology to check the blood flow in the ear to measure the heart rate of the wearing person. Pricing and availability of the device is not yet known, we will know it when LG officially introduces them at CES 2014 later today.
