Micromax has roped in Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman as its brand ambassador. Micromax announced today on its Facebook page, the Hollywood actor will start endorsements for Micromax phones starting with Micromax Canvas Turbo. Hugh Jackman is popular actor seen in movies like X-Men Series (Wolverine).
It is interesting to note that Micromax has roped in a Hollywood actor instead of Bollywood actors, the move is due to Micromax’s plans to enter International markets sooner than later, and it is important for Micromax to have an Internationally recognized person for its product endorsements.
Micromax’s upcoming smartphone is Canvas Turbo, Micromax has started teasing the phone. It has posted a small teaser of sort on its Facebook page featuring Hugh Jackman.
