Microsoft Office for Android now available

Microsoft’s Office app for Android is finally here, but the catch is that currently it is only available for Android smartphones, table users have to wait a little longer for the app. Like the iOS counterpart released last month the app is free for those who have an active Office 365 subscription. For the rest of us there are other options in the Google Play Store with out many restrictions.

Dubbed as “Office Mobile for Office 365” needs an active Office 365 subscription, there is no other free app from Microsoft for accessing Office on Android. The app allows you to access, view and edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents anywhere. The documents will look like originals according to Microsoft with support for charts, animations, SmartArt graphics and shapes.
