Oppo N1 comes with Swivel Camera and Cyanogen Mod for overseas markets

The Chinese hardware manufacturer Oppo has formally introduced the N1 smartphone, it is the new flagship from the company. The N1 comes with Cyanogen Mod pre-installed for overseas markets where as the Chinese users will get Opps’s own Android skin. Another unique feature of this phone is it comes with a camera that can rotate front and back, making the front camera obsolete.

Oppo N1 features a 5.9-inch display with full HD resolution at 377ppi pixel density. It also comes with touch panel at the back called O-Touch which will allows users to scroll pages, tapping, and use camera. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 Processor and 2GB of RAM. It will come with either 16Gb / 32GB of internal storage.

Unique feature of this phone is its camera, it is a 13MP camera which can be rotated front and back. With this design there is no need for a front camera, and the 13MP camera can be used for high quality selfies as well.

Oppo-N1-Camera

Oppo N1 partnered with Cyanogen Mod for the Android skin, Cyanogen Mod recently announced funding and made its plans clear saying that it is evolving into a company and more an Android enthusiasts group. Oppo is the first partner and the N1 is the first smartphone that ships with Cyanogen Mod pre-installed.

Oppo N1 will come in Android with Color skin from Oppo, another variant that comes with Color Skin and Cyanogen Mod and users can switch between them. Another variant comes with pre-installed Cyanogen Mod only.

Pricing and Availability of the phone in  international markets is not yet clear as of now.
