Panda Cloud Antivirus

Panda Security has released a cloud based anti virus to the public. Users interested in testing the application can download for free in the beta period, this application communicates with Panda servers to protect against the malware threats.

Some blogs are reporting that the Antivirus is free for personal use but the Faq at cloud antivirus shows that it is free only during the beta period and users have to pay to after the beta period.

The advantage of using this app is that it has lowest memory print on the host machine, according to Panda Security it uses about half the resources of traditional antivirus programs. This is an interesting approach and if it is free really then it is worth to test this app since it is light-weight and doesn’t require much system resources.
