Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite is another sibling for Galaxy Grand device. Samsung originally launched Galaxy Grand device earlier and just last week it launched the Galaxy Grand 2. If the rumors are true another device called Galaxy Grand Lite might be launched at MWC 2014.
The Galaxy Grand Lite will fit in-between the original Galaxy Grand and the recently announced Galaxy Grand 2. Galaxy Grand Lite specs list includes a 5-inch WVGA screen, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It will have micro SD slot for memory expansion. It packs a 2100mAh battery according to the leaked specs.
It will come with just a 5MP camera at the rear, and the front camera is also limited to VGA only. It will run initially on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and might be released with Android 4.3 at the time of availability. The availability of the phone is expected to be in February or March 2014. It is not yet clear whether it will launch as a dual SIM variant or not, but given the previous launches we can expect this will come to India in dual SIM avatar.
