Send Orkut Scraps Via SMS from Your Mobile Phone

Orkut has added a useful feature in India and Brazil that allows you to send orkut scraps via SMS from your mobile phone. Using this feature you can receive SMS notifications or send scraps to your friends.

This may not be available to all the users, if this feature is enabled for you, you will see a “mobile” tab in Orkut settings page. From this page you can configure the SMS feature by entering mobile number and carrier. Supported carriers in India include Aircel, Reliance, Spice and Tata Networks.

Although this is a useful feature it is not free, see the pricing page for more detials.
