Sony launched the Xperia Z Ultra phablet this June, it comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD display. The phablet is now available as a Google Play edition, Sony announced. If you are a fan of Sony design and wants to have a stock Android experience this is the best device you can get. This is the first device running stock Android from Sony officially.
The device Xperia Z Ultra appeared in the US Google play Store and it is priced at $649, it comes unlocked and should accept SIM cards from AT&T or T-Mobile with out issues. According to the play store listing it should ship in 1-2 days if you order now. Since the phone is unlocked it will work in other regions of the world also except for the 4G LTE which might not work in all locations.
Xperia Z Ultra Google Play Edition will have the same specifications as of the regular Xperia Z Ultra. It comes preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat, it is powered by the 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor, 6.4-inch Full HD TRILUMINOS display among other things. It is also a dust and water resistant smartphone with IP55 / IP58 certification.
