Twitter Android, iPhone and Web apps get Inline Images and Videos

Twitter is trying to become more visual so that it could appeal to everyone. Social networks like Facebook, and Instagram are more visual with lots of images around, Facebook went ahead recently and made the images more prominent by embedding larger ones in the feed. Twitter is now implementing inline images and videos in the twitter feed.

Twitter pushed an update to its app that will show twitter images and vine videos inline below the tweet, earlier you need to click a link to see the media but now you can see the media in the tweet itself. Clicking on the image or video opens full screen.

Not only that but interacting with a tweet also became easier now, the reply, retweet and favorite buttons are also on the timeline itself, so doing any of these actions will take a tap. This feature is already in testing for some time and now it is available to everyone.

Here’s how it works:

The new features are available for Twitter.com web version, Twitter for Android and Twitter for iPhone. Windows Phone users have to wait for some more time to get this feature.
