WhatsApp introduces video streaming

WhatsApp is the leader in messaging apps and to keep it that way it is adding many features recently. We have seen new features being added to WhatsApp in this quarter itself, last week only it added video calling feature on its platform. It has now added another nifty feature on its platform, that feature is the support for video streaming.

With the video streaming feature added users don’t have to wait for the videos to be downloaded before they can be watched. The video streaming feature is quite useful for lot many users because of the sheer amount of video content that is being shared on the platform. Most of the times the vides that are shared through WhatsApp are pointless or utter stupidity, but there is no way to know the content before it is downloaded. With the new feature now you can get the idea of the video content before it is being fully downloaded.

The feature is currently available in Android app for now, but will be rolled out to other platforms soon. It not only saves time but also precious data if you are on a mobile data plan. The feature is currently available in the WhatsApp beta app from Play Store.
