Much awaited mobile operating system from Microsoft is all set to launch by this month end. Microsoft is pinning its hopes on Windows Phone 8 to stay relevant in the smartphone market along with Nokia.
News is coming out as we are nearing the launch of Windows 8 and as well as Windows Phone 8 launch. Microsoft is sending out invites to press for the Windows Phone 8 launch in San Francisco on October 29th. Microsoft might also announce some devices along with the WP8 from their hardware partners.
Although Microsoft will launch Windows Phone 8 we will not be able to buy devices yet, as this is just official unveiling, but for sure we will know the full feature set of next generation Windows Phone OS. Nokia and HTC are expected to launch their Windows Phone devices early November. Nokia will launch Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 and HTC will launch Windows 8X.
