Yahoo Mail for Android gets Dropbox integration

Yahoo Mail for Android got full Dropbox integration to make it easier for users to send large files as attachments. With the refreshed Yahoo Mail and these kind of integrations Yahoo is trying to avoid people moving to other platforms. Earlier Yahoo Mail web version got Dropbox support, as part of the integrations it is possible to share and store files in the Dropbox.

Following the web version, now Yahoo is announcing that Yahoo Mail on Android also got the Dropbox integration. To use this feature all you have to do is tap attachment icon in new mail on Android and select “Share from Dropbox”. If you haven’t linked your Dropbox you can do so from the app itself, if you already did you can use it straight away.

“Beginning today, it’s easier to send files of any size when you’re on the go, with our new Dropbox integration in Yahoo! Mail for Android. Earlier this year, we worked with Dropbox to make it easier to send and receive large attachments in Yahoo! Mail on the web, and millions of you have done so. Now, it’s just as easy to share documents, photos and videos from Yahoo! Mail for Android.”
