Samsung Galaxy S III opened for pre-orders at Samsung e-store few days back. Samsung didn’t reveal the price at that time but expected to launch around Rs 38000. Now Sasholic.com listed Galaxy S3 with a price tag of Rs 39990. This might be MRP but it may retail for somewhat less if the recent trend has to be considered.
The listing is a place holder and you can’t pre-order from the site. But you can enter your email to receive information when it launches. According to the site Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available from June 8th onwards.
According to some rumors Samsung will hold an event in New Delhi, perhaps for the launch of Galaxy S III officially in India. After the launch it might take a week or so to hit the retail stores in India, so June 8th may be the official release date. Previous reports also suggested that the release date might be somewhere in June first week.
Galaxy S III is the most anticipated phone of the year with a lot of hype generated in the coming months. It will come with 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor and 4.8 inch Super AMOLED HD display running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
