Samsung released it’s flagship phone Galaxy S III earlier this month, this is the most anticipated Android phone of the year. The international version will be available in a couple of days, while those in the US have to wait till summer.
Early reviews of Samsung Galaxy SIII are in, and seems like Samsung got a winner on it’s hands in the form of this Android 4.0 device. The reviews point about the great performance of the phone couple with a better camera. All is not well in the sammy camp though, as one early reviewer says HTC One X is still better than this beast.

The Galaxy S II set a high bar for smartphone camera performance, but the Galaxy S III has beaten it. Image quality on this phone is simply excellent.
The Galaxy S III is a technological triumph. Not at first sight, perhaps, but Samsung has done the overwhelming majority of things right. The camera is easily the best I’ve used on an Android device, the processor claims the title of benchmarking champion, and the customizations layered on top of Ice Cream Sandwich are mostly unobtrusive and sometimes even helpful.
The extra-large size of this phone, even with its great ergonomics, may prove to be a stumbling block for those who can’t comfortably fit a 4.8-inch handset into their daily routine.

The best thing about the Galaxy S III? That it’s more than the sum of its parts. Individually, the slightly larger and better display, stronger processor and faster camera may not sound that special, but in daily operation they score major combo points: gathering up all the best bits of the older Galaxy S II and re-working them into a solidly modern (read: mid-2012) device.
And the worst thing about the GS III? No matter how hard it tries, it just isn’t greater than the sum of the HTC One X’s parts. Last year’s Galaxy S II landed on an unsuspecting world that was devoid of predators, but the GS III has no such luxury.

The S3’s oval shape may not be an instant eyeball grabber but those pebble-like curves are made to caress the digits that are holding it. To this enticing design, Samsung has added an upgraded engine — making a phone that’s pretty much unrivalled in the speed and power stakes right now.
On the down side, the TouchWiz interface is occasionally frustrating, and Samsung’s app offerings don’t always hit the mark.
It’s certainly not a phone for everyone, but expect it to give the iPhone a good run for its money.
