Samsung announced Galaxy Fame Android smartphone along with the Galaxy Young, it is a mid range Android device. It is similar in Specs to the Galaxy Young. It also runs in Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Fame is powered by the same 1GHz processor that is there in Galaxy Young with 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD slot for expanding memory to 64GB. Other specifications include 3.5inch HVGA TFT Display, a 5-megapixel camera at the rear and a VGA camera at front for video calling, 1300mAh battery. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G, and an optional NFC support.
There is no official word on pricing and availability of the device.
