If you think 5-inch phablets are difficult to handle look what Samsung has announced, an oversized smartphone named Galaxy Mega. It will be available in two versions 6.3 inch and Mega 5.8 inch sizes. Galaxy Mega is bigger than the Galaxy Note II which is at 5.5inches. Both these phones will be available from May starting with Europe and Russia.
Bothe these phones are not high-end if you look at the specifications but they might appeal to some users who want bigger screens. The 6.3 inch version has a HD (720p) screen while the 5.8 model has the qHD resolution screen. 6.3 inch version is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor while the 5.8 version is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. Both these phones run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
Features: Group Play which enables Wi-Fi network sharing for upto 8 devices on the same network. Two phones come with IR blasters to control TV using these phones. Samsung Link which allows users to stream photos, videos and music to TV, tablet or computer. Other Samsung apps like S Translator and ChatON messenger are also included.
