Apple last week announced that it will offer iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S from November 1st in several other countries and India is one of them. Airtel and Reliance Communications will both offer the iPhones in the country starting November 1st. Airtel has started pre-bookings for the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S and interested customers can visit Airtel retail stores to avail the same.
The pricing of the phones is inline with Apple pricing, if you are expecting iPhone 5C around ?35000 then you will be disappointed as the iPhone 5C pricing starts at ?42000. iPhone 5S will cost upwards of ?54000. Previous iPhone, iPhone 5 is retailing at ?45000 for the 16GB version and ?59000 for the 64GB version. Both these 5C and 5S will replace the iPhone 5 in US. But we are not sure whether Apple will sell iPhone 5 along with these two phones, Apple usually sells like this in the country.
iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S India pricing is a bit steep but nothing unexpected as we have seen in the past Apple sells them at a premium here in India.
