Spice has launched official a new handset in the Indian market with Quad Core processor, 5-inch screen, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Spice Coolpad Mi-515 is already listed at online portal Saholic.com for Rs. 9,990. Spcie has partnered with Coolpad of China to launch products under the brand name Spice Coolpad, this is the first phone from that partnership and in future we will see more China handsets under this brand.
Spice Coolpad Mi-515 packs a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor under the hood along with 1 GB of RAM. It is available under Rs. 10,000 and if it is good in terms of build quality and touch response then it will give a run for its money for many Indian brands. So for now we don’t’ know how good is this smartphone, though on paper it looks good specs wise except in the Camera department.
It features a 5-inch screen with qHD pixels resolution. On the Camera front it is not upto the mark, it comes with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA camera at the front. Currently some Quad Core Android phones are coming with 5MP front camera and atleast 8MP on the rear, but Spice has to cut corners somewhere to justify the price.

It has an internal memory of 4GB with micro SD slot for expanding the memory upto 32GB. It packs a 2000 mAh of battery under the hood to power up the device.
