HTC launched a range of devices at an event in Taiwan a few weeks back including HTC Desire 501, Desire 601 and Desire 700. Today HTC launched these devices in India starting with Rs 16,890 for the low-end Desire 501. These devices will reach the retail outlets this month.
The Desire 501 is priced at Rs. 16,890 and it comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.15GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It packs a 2100mAh battery under the hood. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
The Desire 601 is priced at Rs 24,190 and it comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display (960 x 540 pixels). It is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM.
The Desire 700 is priced at Rs 33,050 and it comes with a 5-inch qHD display (960 x 540 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

WOh look at the specs, HTC might be dreaming while pricing these phones, Some one tell them Nexus 5 is here and it costs damn less for a lot hardware than the 700.
