Angry Birds, the insanely popular mobile game will come in the form of an animated series to all devices this fall according to Rovio’s Head of Animation Nick Dorra. So the next time you might want to download the animated series of the Angry Birds rather than the game, and did you know Angry Birds Movie will also come to a theatre near you.
The Angry birds cartoon show will come in 52 episodes to all possible platforms this fall. The episodes won’t be long like the soap operas you watch on TV but short shows with two-and-half to three minutes length.
Rovio acquired Finnish animation studio Kombo back in June 2011, probably that studio is behind this animated series. It is coming to the Smart TVs also, atleast to Samsung Smart TVs through partnership between Rovio and Samsung.
Regarding the movie, it is in the works and it won’t be coming out until 2014. That is a long time, if Rovio can keep the users glued to their game till 2014 through iterations like recently launched Angry birds Space, it will have a good chance.
