Micromax teases Canvas Doodle 2 on its Facebook page

Micromax is all set to release a new handset in the Canvas series of smartphones. Micromax is teasing Canvas Doodle 2 on its Facebook page. Canvas Doodle 2 is the successor for the Canvas Doodle which received good reviews and praised for affordable pricing. The pricing, specifications and availability of the device is not yet known, but expected to launch in the coming few weeks.

Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 specifications details leaked few days back, but nothing is official yet as the company has not revealed any details about the device. The rumored spec list includes a 5.7-inch screen, it is expected to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8. 5.7-inch screen might be a 720p screen and not 1080p resolution.

It is also rumored to carry a 12-megapixel camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel camera on front for video calls and selfies.

As the name suggests it will allow users to draw, sketch and doodle with a stylus like the Samsung Note devices. Other rumored specifications list includes 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a micro SD card slot for memory expansion, 2600mAh battery under the hood.

Micromax has launched Canvas 4 last month after creating hype around the device by teasing the phone on Facebook and other places multiple times. The hype didn’t work for Micromax and it backfired, hopefully Micromax has learned its lesson and reveal specifications before hyping the new device too much.
