Acer has launched its successor to the Iconia W3 tablet, Iconia W4 in India. The Iconia W4 tablet was first unveiled in October this year, it is now available in India. The Acer Iconia W4 tablet comes with an 8-inch screen and runs on the Windows 8.1 operating system, it is available in two variants, a 32GB model and a 64GB model.
Iconia W4 features an 8-inch IPS display at 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, the screen is brighter and sharper than before and it offers wide viewing angles upto 170 degrees according to Acer. The display offers 16:10 ratio with five-finger multi-touch. The Zero Air Gap technology that reduces the air gap between touch panel and LCD layers will reduce reflection and boosts screen readability under direct sun light.
It is powered by a 4th Gen Intel Atom processor 1.8GHz Quad Core Z3740. It comes with either 32GB or 64GB internal storage, the storage can be expanded with a 32GB micro SD card. It also comes with a HDMI Micro port for connecting external display, and a micro USB port for connecting to other devices and power charging.
Iconia W4 comes with a 5-MP rear camera with autofocus and a front camera with 2MP sensor which can take 1080p videos. Acer has also launched accessories for the tablet, a Acer Cruch Keyboard for the keyboard lovers and Acer Cruch Cover for protecting the tablet, the cover also acts as a stand for the tablet when folded.

Faster, sleeker, and packing in more power than the W3, the Iconia W4 pushes the envelope on portability and performance.”
Pricing & Availability: Acer has priced the Iconia W4 32GB version at Rs 24999 and the 64GB version at Rs 26999. It will be available in Reliance Digital and Croma retail stores across the country, it will be available online at Flipkart.
