Bharti Airtel is offering free access to Facebook in 9 Indian languages. Airtel pre-paid customers through out India in various circles are eligible to take advantage of the offer. Under the offer users can access Facebook for free until Jan 31st, although the offer is free there is a per month data limit set at 30MB.
The offer is valid to pre-paid customers and is only valid through Facebook mobile sites. Users have to visit m.facebook.com and make an account if they don’t have to use the service. The Indian languages supported include- Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. According to the offer Airtel customer can view or upload photos, comment and write on walls, post status updates and exchange messages with others.
This is a limited period festive offer, Airtel last year also announced similar offer. Airtel earlier offered free twitter access and recently it partnered with Google to give users free access to search, Gmail and Google+.
