Firefox for Windows 8 touch friendly beta is now available

Firefox Beta for Windows 8 touch devices is now available for testing. The browser is in the making for long time, after many delays and postponements it is now finally available for testing. This beta is optimized for the Windows 8 touch devices and for the Windows 8 modern UI, it comes with a tile based start screen for Firefox.

Firefox beta start screen arranged in tile based interface brings all familiar Firefox features like bookmarks, history and others for your touch navigation. Mozilla notes in its blog post that you can use the Awesome Bar also. It supports touch and swipe gestures like pinch and zoom etc.

Firefox for Windows 8 touch beta released

Other list of features it supports include snap feature of Windows 8 where you can use another app snapped to the side of a screen while browsing on Firefox. It also comes with the Windows share integration for sharing content to your installed social networks. Remember you need to set Firefix Beta as your system default browser to test ride.
