This is a holiday season and every one is looking for some Greeting cards to greet dear ones. You can buy pretty good cards from the mall, but what if you want to have a greeting card with that special photo of yours. Now you can generate greeting cards with your own photos using Greeting Card Generator.
You can upload a photo or give the URL of the image you want on the greeting card. Type the text you want on the front page of the card, you can select black or white color for this text. In the next text box enter the message you want inside the greeting card. Now click go to get your greeting card, you will get your card as PDF. Save the PDF, take prints and greet friends with those special cards.
It works well, but a few things are missing, like ability to use different colors for frontpage text. Font size, shape and color for the inside text. I am not sure how difficult are these features to implement but they will surely make this a great application. it would be great if the developer can add these features.

Maybe I’ll add an option to choose the font later too.
And remember it’s an open source utility (like a wiki for programs), here’s the code you can edit right online, so feel free to add some features if I don’t get to it.
Definitely looks good and with Christmas and new year coming, good one to send to friends.
